Knowing how I love my sport, friends would not be surprised to read that I am enjoying the Womens' Cricket against Sri Lanka.
There is something very 'summery' about listening to the cricket on the radio and reminiscent of my youth

We just gave princess
bonnie a bit of a trim (she's on the floor with her back to me sulking) 
She has an appt with the groomer but the hair around her eye's needed to
come off NOW! I was disappointed Ash was beaten by Osaka in Beijing I had
one eye on the tennis and one eye on the football. Pleased to hear you are
keeping up with the aussie sport.

I havn't looked at the peregrine falcons for few days - ugly little critters they are. Like ugly duckings that transform into beautiful swans, they too will look beautiful in time (in their own ways)

Hi laney,
Mum back in hospital.
Lower ab pains and suddenly couldn't use right leg.
Surgeon came in and wasn't happy with drain bag. Infection again.
Next day and they want to move her to urinary hospital but I pointed out to nurses perhaps empty insuti drain bag and have tested.
Well no one had thought of that and Urinary specialist didn't know there was such a device attached apart from catherter.
It's not the first time I have had to check on procedures or medication. So now move is postponed thank goodness.
I realize staff have a heavy load and things get left out.
In fact what I have seen in the last 2 months at Monash Clayton, I am very impressed considering it's a training hospital with young staff. The carp they put up with from patience, the load and analysis they need to perform as well as language barriers.
My hat goes off to them. Nearly all of them very nice also.
Waiting on results.

Imagine the poor patients who do not have kin keeping a watchful brief over them 
You are indeed fortunate to have her ........ and she you Kopes.
I hope that the results are good and that you get them sooner rather than later. The waiting sometimes seems interminable.

Hi Laney our little Bonnie is doing so well she had a visit to the
parlour yesterday for a trim and her nails clipped. From all accounts
she was a good girl and is welcome back

Sorry to hear your Mum is having a battle Kopes and as Laney said she's
fortunate to have you keeping an eye on things. Laney I agree Kopes niece
