Exactly Dom!  This is a picture of our Burmese cat 'Latte' (now gone over the "Rainbow Bridge") when she was at her most "helpful" in the sewing room!  I still miss her terribly.

The rangehood filters were quite difficult to clean fully.
They're not actually designed to be cleaned.
Not a job I've ever done before.
My house is over a hundred years old and doesn't have fancy units such as a rangehood.
I can't recall how long this particular rangehood has been here but it's been a few years.
I'll definitely take notice of it now I know it's an issue

Martin, there is something so very special about a house that is over a hundred years old.  The history of the time, the people who lived in it, the builders, the era itself .. if only it could speak.

I'd better get going now and get some work done.

Until later then, have the best day everyone ... Heart

So there was the Rockabilly Festival in Ballarat on the weekend.
I don't think it was as good as the one I last went to.
Can't remember if it was last year or the year before.
Due to circumstances beyond my control my memory is very poor.
Anyway I made a short video of it

So I don't know whether I had good news or bad news today.
Back in September my Sony Xperia phone stopped working.
I took it to the phone repair shop just up the road.
It's a rare model with a curved screen apparently the same model can have a flat screen which doesn't make sense to me because if they're different they should be different models buy that's an aside.
Anyway after five months and multiple incorrect screen being received the correct screen finally arrived.
Now the phone can't be put back together because the flex power cord broke.
It would appear that that happened when being pulled apart.
This flex cord is also different to the flat screen version, naturally
Due to CONVID-19 nothing is coming out of China so now I have another long wait.
I'm now worried about the battery because they don't like sitting for months unused

That is really bad news Martin.  Technology can be so wonderful but horrible when  needing repairs as the technology is moving so fast.

It sounds as though you may need to start again and abandon what you have.  None of it is cheap, but ultimately, it might end up as a cheaper option to get a new system?

I'm not getting why the phone can't be put back together.

Where is the flex power cord. ????
