Morning everyone

Deb I don`t think we had any rain overnight..Have Eva`s 4th birthday party down at Ringwood Lake later this morning and I betcha the rain will come then..was a hot night and I had the a/c going..thankfully no power outages..

I'm thinking you might've gotten a bit wet Nic

Deb we were lucky,a bit of a drizzle at times but by 11.30 the party had finished and the heavy downpour came about 1/2 later..We got there early to secure an undercover pavilion. The council have upgraded the amenities and play equipment at the lake and I must admit it looks fantastic..lucky kids! Everyone had a great day especially "cheeky" Eva!

but we decided it's getting too big and it has to go

Looks like a conifer. I have bonsaied some before.

They get very big unless restricted.

Here is a bonsai I repotted a few days ago. A young elm.

Still needs to be shaped.

I think it was a juniper "spartan"..  but I didn't expect it to get so big, so quickly. It must've liked that spot. The hardest part to do will be the top... my husband will have to go up on the roof to do that bit and I'll just stay out of the way.

your plants look much more manageable Kopes. Woman LOL

Deb..........we used to have two pencil pines out near our front gate.

All I can say is................it seemed like a good idea to plant them when we first moved in.

25 years later....................not such a good idea.

Glad they are gone.

Good morning everyone it`s been quiet on this thread so thought I would "bump" it and see if it comes alive againSmiley Happy

How is everyone going.

Hope you are all stocked up of toilet paper.

I refuse to stock pile anything............just doing our normal shop.

We have been staying home where possible.

We have a new little grand daughter and have been advised to keep her contact with people to a minimum.

Not just becasue of the corona virus..............but becasue she is not immunised against anything yet as she is too young.

I bought hubby and I some football tickets for Launceston in April..............hope I can get our money back.

No way are there going to be any games here ............even without spectators.

Not when they  have to quarantine for 14 days.

Congratulations on your baby granddaughter Flashie nothing is more wonderful than a new grandchild to love and cherish!Heart

Thanks Nics...............we need a few boys to even up the numbers though.
