No online shopping for me. Cd I'm after. U.S $28. Australia $47 plus $5 postage. I'll wait until the international mail service resumes.

Have you tried Amazon or Amazon AU? They are frequently well priced and offer free shipping on some items, especially for smaller ones.

and spending on childcare aruguably more helpful to more people than shelter sheds were

( Lets hope free childcare becomes permanent )

Amazon have stopped shipping music while the coronavirus is raging. Amazon Au are useless. They have little stock and end up getting your order from the U.S.
Ditto Germany's Postal Service aren't shipping International parcels due to corona.

Ok I kind of don't get free childcare. If ppl are staying at home and many schools are closed, why is childcare necessary?

$US28? That would be over $AU40, plus GST and not much difference.

Some parents work.

So if both parents are in careers where there is no need  to isolate themselves, ergo not suffering any decrease in income, why free child care?

Dunno, contact Morrison's office and ask.

Not all children have both parents and it's to encourage our essential workers (like nurses) to stay at work

it makes perfect sense to me at this time Icy
