PM wants 'no jab, no play' to apply to NRL

Gold Coast Titans player Bryce Cartwright has become the face of the anti-vaxxer movement in the NRL after reportedly signing a waiver exempting him from the league's mandated flu shots as the season gets set to resume.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison spoke to 2GB this morning and drew comparisons to the 'no jab, no play' rules he introduced for childcare centres when he was social services minister.

"I think the same rule applies here - no jab, no play," he told 2GB.

Shanelle Cartwright, Bryce's wife, spoke out on social media, saying their children were "a picture of health" despite not having had any immunisations. She also rejected the term anti-vaxxer.

"People have the freedom to say what they like, just like we have the freedom to choose which medical procedures we undergo, but ultimately the proof is in the pudding," she wrote on Instagram.

"What we're doing is going seemingly well seeing the state of their health. So if it's not clear, we're not anti anything. We stand for medical freedom and the right to choose."

So 9th of January was China Covid-19 international disclousure day , and from there.....

Went to the Plaza today for the first time in nearly 7 weeks, was like being in a different country

The line at the super market was not to long, spent a lot of money stocking up.

Then had to unpack the trolly into bags in the car park

Fulled up with petrol and learnt how to card pay for it by a nice young man who stayed his distance.

Even went to MC Donalds drive through just because I could and I dont usually eat MCD

Felt like I had had a good day out 🙂
