you can die crossing the road...

Yeah, but you can avoid it if you watch the traffic carefully. But you can't see the virus!

It's your point - cases - death.

Stick to it - or resort to the sock.

It just happens to coincide with lifting of restrictions. Near enough is just not good enough.
Brazil's cases have gone from 1 million to over 2 million in just 27 days. 😞

"cases"  doesn't translate to "deaths".

Of-course they do; for every hundred people infected 20 -30 end up in hospital, and 1 or 2 die.  Out of those hospitalized large proportion ends up with serious complications, some not apparent for a while.  Heart , kidney,  liver or pancreas damage, and it may also affect your brain resulting in early onset dementia.

unless you stop believing what the govt/experts are telling us there is no evidence of these events (BLM marches or shopping trips) being behind this victorian outbreak.

there have been events in other states that had many people deciding the virus was defeated and went out and acted like there was no risk and those states didnt get a second wave of infections.

i would like to be able to point at a single event and be able to say thats where it went wrong

the experts are saying it was at a hotel where security was lets say below the required standard where the outbreak started i think.

some of the stories of what was going on in that hotel lockdown if true ought to be criminal acts

I wonder if our PM will ever be man enough to apologise to Annastacia Palaszczuk for criticizing her border management. Or at least acknowledge her government of the State during the Covid crisis. Her firm stance on border control has kept Queenslanders safer than they could have been. Maybe we'll have to wait until a Labor government is elected into power before some recognition is given.
