Unfortunately there is no 'rapid' test ( as in results in minutes ) available yet.

The 'breath test' turned out to be google hype 😞

In the absense of a rapid test, effective vaccine or the virus almost disappearing

the borders for os travel will remain closed and general restrictions will continue

to be imposed not to mention the ongoing economic impact.

I suppose if some people didn't act like idiots the outcome woul;d be much different.

You know the ones.

I went shopping this afternoon at a supermarket which is abt. 200 metres from a location where an infected person visited recently. I wore a face mask. Most of the customers did not and several looked at me with a surprised expression on their face. Not far from the supermarket was a very long line of cars with people waiting to be tested for Covid-19. That suggests that most of the locals are aware of the current risk in the neighbourhood, but most will not wear a mask to protect themselves and others. I just don't get it.
