Sydney school under investigation for locking child with autism in 'sensory room'
did they think banning her from the school would make her go away?
sometimes i just scratch my head in disbelief of what so called intelligent people do.

Does that matter.
You do not lock any child in - anywhere.

Why would you lock a child up for no good reason?

Why would you lock a child up for no good reason?
Was it harming itself? Harming others? Being disruptive or violent?
There's no allusion to it in the article.

If the child was harming him/herself - definitely not a lock situation.
If the child was harming others - definitely not a lock situation.
Read the article - the keys were not easily found.

So many people go off half cocked these days without bothering even to look into reason things happened .
Everyone is a photographer , taking videos of the end product , no idea or care how things start or why , make their own assumptions with incomplete details.

I have a grandson on the autism spectrum
He is very high functioning
Never treated him by locking him in a room when he got fustrated
