The relief is almost tangible, rather like having a very tight corset untied.
I think we're "doing all right".

But of course waiting for official approval....
Why would you expect the employees to be used for testing purposes? Or the shareholders?
Something to do with endorsement - as evidenced by the enthusiatic mass uptake by flushed with success company employees

That's a very strange way of thinking, since most drug companies employ people for testing, and anyone affiliated with the company would get the vaccine through a doctor, just like the rest of the world does. Working for any company doesn't automatically mean endorsing their product, why would you expect that?
When i was young, I worked in a cereal factory. I didn't eat or endorse their product, and it wasn't a requirement for the job. My children didn't eat it either, sugary cereal has never been allowed in my home as a meal.

I'm sorry that a South Australian has behaved badly. We certainly had some bad virus behaviour in Melbourne; that frustrated the rest of the Melbournians who stuck with the health advice even when it affected us personally.
Our Victorian victory over the COVID-19 wave is a triumph well-deserved for most Victorians and an undeserved blessing to those who flouted the rules.
I hope that the quarantine-flouter doesn't precipitate further cases.

Always gonna have people who believe the rules don't apply to them. Otherwise we wouldn't have gaols.

That's depressingly true, and I shake my head like one of those wobble-head dolls when I consider that it's part of what goes into the sort of modelling that was used. It's anticipated that a certain percentage of people will not comply with the health advice.
I would have them flogged with nasopharyngeal swabs and forced to listen to endless repeats of "You're no good".
