Bogan Gate is in Bogan Shire. Some people tried to get the names changed, but the majority of locals told them to pish off. If someone is offended by the name of their town, they are free to leave at any time.

I remember reading there is a town in England called Ugley.
They have a women's group which despite efforts to put the town name last is usually referred to as the Ugley Women's Institute.
As one member put it, "We tried to change it but it never sticks."

There's also a tube station on the Picadilly Line called C*ckfosters.
