Oh I agree, we haven't seen the last of him.
But the main point is that we are close to the hand over of power. And I think we will see him back off from actively suggesting any marches or protests before then.
I think we have to put this in perspective. When Trump won, we saw massive whingeing for months afterwards. I would say the Democrats were very sore losers. They did everything they could to disrupt and denigrate him.
They complained about the voting process too, although it is the same sort of process that had been in place for years and no one had ever bothered to tweak it in the meantime, so tough luck, basically. If you know something is not quite right, fix it when you are in power. They had had the previous 8 years.
The only thing we didn't see was this level of violence.
So the squawking and squealing that 'it's not fair' is about par for the course lately in American politics. But we need to see the physical violence level turned down a few notches.
This last year, it seems to have been the protest method of choice over there.
Once Trump is no longer in power, I think it will be a fait accompli as far as the presidency goes and I suspect things will calm down a bit.
Trump won't disappear. I don't know what he'll do. Probably something to do with business. But to save face, he may just keep with the announcement that he will run again in 2024, bigger and better than ever. That's fine. A week's a long time in politics and 4 years when you are in your mid 70s, anything can happen. In fact I am not even sure how Biden will fare for the 4 years, let alone who else will be in the political ring by that time.
maybe " du bist meiner nicht würdig "

Oh, he certainly has won his place in history, I doubt anyone will be allowed to forget his childish and disrespectful actions.
He has gone down in history for all the wrong reasons, idiotic simple minded fool LOL
Without the covid contagion crisis I think Trump would have romped in for a second term - A nation who experiences new-found economic success and revitilisaton would overlook a lot of excesses - but conversely.....

I think Trump will feel affronted by his rejection and more so because many of his successes were not really published so in the end I think he will feel a large part of the population " were not worthy of him "
He will get looked after - 50% of the US wealth will appreciate his contribution to recent improved middle-east relations between various countries there - and the smart money has only got weathier during his tenure

And at the risk of being accused of invoking Godwin's Law, may I remind everyone there is a three part documentary starting on SBS on Thursday evening that might provide food for thought - it's called called The Rise Of the Nazis.
