I am guessing however, that the soldiers Harry supported through The Invicus Games probably think very highly of him and I hope he will be able to continue that support.

I was not comparing Edward VIII to Prince Harry per se.

 

I was merely comparing the bestowing of dukedom titles on Royal princes who ceased fulfilling royal duties - ie there was a precedent where Edward, despite the scandals he caused over the years (cosying up to Hitler for example) having been given the title kept it.  He was not stripped of this Duke of Windsor title....when he probably should have been. 

 

Prince Harry is a different kettle of fish to Edward and taking away his dukedom would be mean in the extreme....and unwarranted.
