With the privacy issue there are so many other issues feeding into this issue. With marketing companies, smart phones, smart TVs, smart fridges, smart meters etc., what is supposed to govern and limit their intrusion into our privacy is a law set down by political representatives. The main question should be not how trustworthy are they but how long until they betray the people they were elected to  represent? In Australian politics, there are many politicians which including former PMs who have done things which should have seen them imprisoned. So do you think we have have any hope?

With crime and terrorism, it's obvious we need some kind of actions in place to keep innocent people safe. I don't disagree with that at all. But how long until this power gets abused?

It has been said that in the US, a man who can't be bought is the one who doesn't get elected.

Anyway, back to Shoshana Zuboff. What she says is an important message to wake up folks before it's too late!

With those industries that crave extra personal info about people for profit, there hasn't been much success in limiting them to date. Buying a "Yes" in the West is as easy as it in any  Third World country.

It should be obvious - if something is ' precious ' - you take really good care of ' it ' - so it is never ' lost '.

Really- the only ' precious ' something ' - boils down to ' someone ' - somethings are totally replaceable - precious ' someones ' arent.

I'm looking forward to these kind of ' comments ' - being lost in the eBay - idea of .............
