As a diehard Geelong supporter I was guttered by how they played last night, but saying that I do hope Melbourne can go all the way and win the GF.

Go Demons!!

Thoughts of all those innocents whose lives were lost on this day 20 years ago.

Their friends and family who have carried a sense of loss since then.

Unimaginable pain 😢

May we never forget them ❤️

.

Hear hear. 😑

And Go Melbourne.......................🙂

And Go Melbourne.......................🙂

.... and they DID!  Another whitewash.  You may have 'lost' the GF Kopes, but at least you will have two Vic clubs to barrack for.  😄

.

well I am going to barrack for the Dees and here`s hoping for a good game come grand final day.

Same here Nics - I think they deserve to get the flag given the long drought for them and how well they have played this season 😀

Perth is getting just a bit excited 😂

.

Laney I assume the game will be televised live on tv,if so are you going to watch it?In my much younger days I have seen many grand finals at the G and nothing is more exciting then been amongst the the crowd.I have actually helped to hold the banner on the day for the Brownlow Medalist to run thru, if I remember rightly it was for South Melbourne`s Peter Bedford.Exciting times the AFL GF is!

Given that all the tickets have apparently sold out, I would expect that it will be broadcast live Nic.

We will probably watch it - cannot be totally ostrich-like given it will be a once in a lifetime GF here in the wonderful west.

Crowds do not appeal to me Nic - never have.  Quite content to watch from the comfort of home lol.

Did you help make the banner as well as hold it?  I used to work with a lady who was involved in making the Dockers banner - think she might have given up because of her age now.  She sure was dedicated though lol

We have been watching so much sport these past months that it will be good to have a break now that the US Open is over and get out and enjoy the spring weather.

.

No never got to help make one just hold it  Laney I must have been 13 so a bit too young. The floggers I did make and they took ages and so much paper and they were so heavy.Good times back then.Spring is trying to establish itself here but still too many cold days imo:-)

Due to been able to travel a bit further I took a drive down to my "old"house in Box Hill and then down to Hamilton st and buy for lunch my favourite cheese toastie(A monsiuer) at the old zimit cafe. Deb I am sure you know which one I mean.Very busy with people everywhere. The owner of the cafe said business has been excellent and one bonus no plates etc to wash!Whilst eating my lunch via the car I noticed the dress shop was open.
