I hope they’re wrong. We’re not out of the woods here yet, more rain downpours expected here in my neck of the woods.
Already surrounded by streets of  flood water, another dump of rain might just bring it to my front door yet 😞

What's it like there this morning??

Just up the road from us (about 2 blocks in length)…. The houses up there have flood water in their back yards.  That particular road joins my road.

Our street is currently flood free, but if we get a dump of rain, like what is expected, then anything could happen, especially if they have to release water from out of the ‘catchment’ again.

My direct route to work,  is closed due to flood water over the road in two places. It’s an hours drive each way via through another town.

This pic, is at the end of the street that adjoins my street.  Completely covered, and deep. Houses near there (some with stock) are flooded.

Heavens - that is a heap of water - hopefully if it does rain again - not too heavy.

Stay safe.

Not even sure it rained overnight here.

My “helpful” was a sympathetic wince.
