Joseph Canteloube: Baïlèro (from Chants d'Auvergne), sung by Victoria de los Angeles

One of my favourite performance of this lovely piece. I also love Kiri Te Kanawa's peerless version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lalGP1_hgyI), Netania Davrath (https://youtu.be/-iI8tMHrD_c), Véronique Gens (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5TVKT0HbVo&t=168s) and also a live version (https://youtu.be/24iMnUiRjzk), María Bayo (https://youtu.be/KWXroPCcZS8), Frederica von Stade (https://youtu.be/_qzMXQWX2QY), Anna Moffo (https://youtu.be/K14SWWX19cY?t=542)... I'd better stop there!

Spoiler
When Renee Fleming released her recording of it, I thought it would be glorious. In terms of tone, it is, but the interpretation seems superficial. Still, it's never less than beautiful.

Something quite different. When DJs meet a classical musician.

Strange, disturbing, shifting in and out of silence and tonality. You can feel the sense of loss and the capturing of memory.
