I didn't break any 'rules' or introduce any new 'rules' in #407.

I was up front that I would not vote for any caption unless there was a tie at the end, at which time I (the OP) would decide the winner.  I was up front in saying I was not changing the rules.

No need for me to PM you.

As for the rules being set down in 2015 . . . I have trouble finding things from last month!  Maybe you could bump Caption #1 to remind us all of the rules.  I'd do it . . . but I care not!

I have time, so I did go back and look.  It looks like you are wrong! Very wrong. 

Up until Caption #38, May 2016, in the event of a tie it was 'first in'  for who started next Caption thread.

So - who was the guilty party that time. ?? lol
