Goooooooooooooood morning all.........and i think summer has decided to come early to the Goldie.......we so need some rain......everything is starting to look very dry

I can remember not so long ago wishing that the rain would stop!!! the first part of this year seemed to be one continual rain storm.


Hi Kylie and thank you for the cuppa and the cake.......i really shouldnt be eating that cake

don't worry about the cake, cos I baked it choc full of love and my grandma used to say that when she did that, all the calories evaporated....

personally, I like to go with, once I cut it/break it, all the calories leak out.....

Hi Missnogal and im just going about doing my thing seeing Mother etc and keeping very much to m yself....the OH doesnt quite know what to make of it......i think he was used to laying down the law so to speak with his late wife.....dont think he can quite figure me out:)

Yes am so excited for the kids and something for me to get my teeth into as well.......a bit of a work in progress......will need a paint and new light fittings but the basic home is very solid etc and thats the important thing.....very well situated etc etc......just a really nice time in their lives:)

hey all, well another weekend gone and another week about to begin...I just cant seem to get myself motivated anymore...I have gone from being quite happy and houseproud to very depressed and I cant seem to get on top of this darn housework there is stuff everywhere..
My back and leags are so painful, but the docs have said there is nothing they can do anymore, they have done all they can..I just gottta live with it?
How are you supposed to live with constant pain that is enough to knock 10 full grown men for 6? I have been putting up with back pain for 29 years now, was diagnosed with juvenille osteo arthritis when I was 10 years old... I dont want anymore surgery...I just want the pain to go away ..even for 1 day it would be nice to have a break from it all..

Oh well ,i guess thats life..not always fair...but then again this is not something I would even wish on my worst enemies.(not that I have any)

pj, i don't know what to say. I am feeling really sad that you are in so much pain and that you feel depressed. Constant pain causes depression pj, be careful that you don't let this go to far before you seek help. Surely there is some medication that they can give you for the pain. Are you able to see a different doctor? have you tried alternative therapies?

PJ, I think that you need to let a medical peep know that you are feeling down. Maybe as a last resort they can admit you to hospital for a few days so that they can give you some painkillers just to give you a break and give you a chance to get yourself into a happier frame of mind.

Please ask for some help. Do you live in Southern Queensland?

oh, and just a thought, is there some sort of support group for you to join? You really need to be with people who understand what you are dealing with and they may have some suggestions for what works for them.

Hi Sleeping yes i had thought of doing that but she comes into the house and totally takes over the kitchen etc etc......leaves the kids stuff all over the floor lets the kids wander around all the house and lets them put all their dirty hands on the leather lounges etc etc......needless to say the OH doesnt say a dammed thing to her:(

She has a complete lack of respect for me even though her brothers and sister have had words with her:(

Im pretty much over it and just want a nice peaceful life:)

Hi to the Bear,

And like Kylie said have you chatted to the Doc about how down you are feeling......there is some wonderful medication out there that does wonders.....in regards to the constant pain......have they tried you with a pain patch......some marvellous products in that area as well:)
