I am going to go back to bed soon, still a bit tired, and just want a bit of quiet time... need to get myself organized a bit better than I am, esp before going to have these lumps taken off of my face.

Good morning. A bit cool here this morning as it is every morning.

Today we are hoping to go for a hike up to a falls. It is a 3.5 hour return trip. See how we feel OH is still asleep. Must say I slep very well last night.

Will start packing up ready for the trip to Hobart later this arvo. We will head down there tomorrow morning. A chilly 14 there today. Might need to get out the longjohns. lol,.

Eeek re the snake. I always hope we never sight one while out hiking. Hate the things with a passion.

Well I am off to have breakfast and head up for a shower. Maybe OH will be awake by the time I am finished. Then we will decide what we are going to do.

JVH you are working way too hard and have had too much stress to cope with. I believe in miracles - (my grandma was given weeks to live due to bowel cancer 40 years ago - and lived a further 25years and died of a heart condition!) I know it sounds so bleak for your friend but I do wish she would seek alternate advice and fight back. (Easier said than done, I know.)

Hi pjbear so sorry you have to go through more medical woes (lumps on your face) - seems never ending for you - but good girl for bouncing back as well as you do! Would love to see your cards - they sound beautiful!

Hugs to everyone and yes been a bit of a long day but got a lot done........and the garden is looking really nice....the OH painted the boundary fence and son did a heap of gardening along with the gardener...........tomorrow im having coffee with Chrissy and yes im going to be chatting about alternate therapies and seeing what her thoughts are on the issue........shes adamant that she wont do chemo or even just radiation. However she may have to have radiation at a later date in a pallative care capacity,this is one very strong willed lady:) Anyways all we can do is but try and of course we will offer to take her to alternative practioners etc........without kiddies or grandies she feels as though she has had a very full life and yes has accomplished way more than any people.........just wish she didnt have such a horrible end to have to try and get her head around

Had a light dinner fresh salad rolls and juice.....on the big healthy kick determined to carve off some more weight:)
