Good morning all!
Hi JVH big relief your friend is getting much needed medical assistance - especially being in so much pain. It must be so hard for her to come to terms with. I do not envy the road ahead you will travel with her and wish you every ounce of strength!
Hiya pjbear sounds to me like that cat of yours is the boss at your place lol! Hope you have something good planned for your day (you normally do!)
Purple well done and congrats with the exercising - it's the motivation I have the problem with. Got the wii fit all set up and keep walking past it lol!
Hi bella - sorry you have to wait till next year for your appointments. I had 3 fibroids surgically removed (cut hip to hip not by lapro) - and was thrilled with the results (one of them was so big I could see it/feel it) - Doc said it was heavy so I came home happier and lighter and never looked back. (This was about 4yrs ago and no problem since). (Touch wood lol!)
Waves to dame, kezza, libby, scatty and everyone!
Have a great day!
Hi Miss and yes Chrissie is in the right place for her condition.......im in daily contact with the Irish connection and have discussed with them pallative care etc........very hard for them to cope with and they are not the youngest people either.........as in life im sure that it will all work itself out. Have a very small pallative care area in the hospital where she is unfortunately nothing like Mt. Olivett in Brisbane where my late hubby was 😞 Staff are fabulous where she is and that when you are facing the end is so very important:)

Thanks PCT, Sounds like you had a terrible time. I get the leg pain so badly as well.Oh and the heavy loss etc. I won't be seeing the specialist till feb.
I had hoped it would have been sooner, so hoping this doesn't drag out too long. But am looking forward to having the rotter removed!!!!
I agree with you I think they do get worse and I am extremely keen to have a hysterectomy. I think because I carry the FX gene I shouldn't have a problem getting my request and docs request meet.
Just hoping it doesn't drag on forever........
Anyway thanks for that appreciate you sharing. am off now to have brekkie, have a great day PCT:-x
Hugs and you wont know yourself once you have that fix it up op...........had mine at 42 and was the very best thing i ever ever did for myself.........had it done through the tummy button.....and felt like a new person within a couple of weeks:)

Debating whether I will go to Hobart this morning. Will catch the bus as hubby does not want to go. Will see how things go.
Cool here today. Still wearing winter gear. Have to wonder if the sun ever comes out. However I am really enjoying it.
PJ I hope things improve for you. I am not a great fan of Xmas now my children have grown. We have to alternate Xmas now as they have other family to consider. So this year it is going to be just the two of us. I am a bit sad about that though.
Anyway have a great day everyone. BBL

PJ sorry you are still not feeling well sweetie, sending you loads of hugs. It sounds like your family have been rather stressful for you. Mine are fairly much the same, in fact I avoid them at this time of the year for that very reason, plus they are not a healthy influence on my children.
That's where I am grateful I am in another state, life is so much better since moving away from the infighting, drunkeness and endless carp that goes on. I've spent many a Christmas where you could literally cut the air with a knife. Because I have OH and the girls we concentrate on each other or we spend time with friends.
Christmas used to stress me out to the max, now I find myself enjoying this time of the year and looking forward to another year even if I am getting old LOL
PCT enjoy Hobart if you decide to go 🙂 JV have a great day and thanks for your reassurance.
I'm off to Wangaratta today for a change to shop.
Enjoy your day all!

JVH do you think your friend will be released from hospital before she goes into palliative? I do hope so. Enjoy morning tea with your aunt and uncle - lucky them - I love cruising - this time last year exactly we were cruising South America!
Hi pjbear don't let Xmas get you down! You would be surprised that underneath all the cheer - there are many, many people who feel the same way - to such a degree the xmas period always records the highest no. of suicides (unfortunately my dear friend was one of those last year (Dec. 29). Can you leave your phone off the hook before you go to sleep at night? That way you get a good nights sleep and your 'callers' may take a hint. Hugs to you pjbear - hope you feel better.
Hi bella - enjoy your shopping! What a lovely quaint town - hope you find loads of bargains!
Hi scatty hope your work load is slowing down - and hope puss is still healthy and completely better!
Hiya purple you might need those boots in Melbourne in May! Hope you get to visit Hobart today - it is lovely - I love the Salamanda market they have tho not sure which days it is on.
Hi Dame, libby, lilly, rosie and everyone who pops in.
It's pouring here with rain and I really need to hit the supermarket - might leave it to the afternoon (just washed my hair lol!) - Have a great day everyone!

Was a stinker up in Brisbane yesterday.......was simply marvellous to catch up with them.........Uncle gets very teary when he has to leave...they never were able to have kiddies..........one of those things that Life hits you between the eyes with sometimes:(.........of course my son is the apple of their eye and Sonny boy and Uncle were in a huddle all day yacking away.
My friend has been put on a heap of meds...........and yes they are thinking of letting her out of hospital just for a little while and then the next time in will be into Pallative care.....all very sad to see but being ever practical she said well girl ill never get dementia..........how true
Hows the heat treating everyone...........its totally oppressive here at the momento:(

JV so glad you enjoyed your visit with your aunt and uncle.
Your friend seems to have a very good view of things for the situation she is in. I hope she does not suffer too much. hugs to you both.
Well it must be around 16 here atm. Very cool and I am loving it. I have slept most of the day. Late night last night and was up early getting the washing done. Must say I feel very tired at times. Bit concerned that my thyroid is still not up to scratch. My doc did say it was down before we left. Oh well see what happens. If not feeling better soon off to find a doc.
Things are going well here. I got to Hobart yesterday. Love that place. Walked heaps. Was stuffed by the time I got back.
Not sure what we are doing tomorrow. I have to pack up some things for Xmas and send off to the kids. And do the Xmas cards.
Hope everyone has a good evening. BBL

Heat here is terrible - OH just asked would I like to go for a walk.
The man is mad.
Glad your friend is in the hospital JV - best place for her at the moment and she is lucky to have you with her.
Such a shame Christmas is such a stressful time for so many people. We and our son are spending Christmas day with a friend then flying to Sydney on Boxing Day to spend a little time with the girls and grandchildren. Not sure yet how long we will stay, as hopefully we will be on the move early in the new year.
