Afternoon all :-x

We are moved in a few more things to get from the other place they didnt have room in the truck for my bird cage and water feature, gonna see if the bloke next door with a trailer can assist me.
The new place is fab fully a/c but the lounge room is as cool as no need for a/c I had to leave my computer desk outside no room so we have used the little one.
The removal cost me extra I thought it would be 3 hours they said 2 and a quarter but when we got here they couldnt get the removal truck up the drive and they had to take the door off to get the fridge in. So we have no money for Chrissy it cost me $195 and I thought it would be $100 😞 Say la vie in this world the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, lol.

I was reminded with a jolt of something that i thought quite odd. Went to the local op shop to buy my friend a new rosary beads.........not that long ago one could go there and find a whole lot of variety prices different colours etc.........they had exactly 4 rosary beads.........and i asked and said is there a reason for this apparently yes you guessed it very few people buy rosary beads these days........went out of the shop shaking my head.........but not before i heard a very ignorant person berate one of the Brothers over their Christmas hamper........i was gob smacked and needed to get outside before i opened my mouth:)

Good morning all. Blowing a gale here this morning. A bit chilly. I slept until 9.30, which is really unusual for me. Must have needed it.

Yes a lot are doing it tough. Just been reading the paper here and the Salvos and other charities have had a huge increase in people needing help. A lot are going to be out of work here soon.

Not much planned today. Going to test drive my little $49 vac. I just wanted sometihing to do the carpet square and around the bed. So no use for a big expensive one. Plus it is ging to be bumped over roads.

Way to go sounds like a nice family day.........and i agree with you re moving or doing renos is a major pain........it seems to go on forever:)
