Hugs Karen and i totally agree with you.......it has changed me deeply and profoundly.....life is for living etc etc.
How long for you....7.5 years here although have had two other scares so am thinking seriously after Mother passes of having the chop on that side as well:) Cant go through the stress of having the lumps popping up at will:(

I am changed, yes. I am also feeling blessed that I was here to meet my grandchildren. I try to make the most of every day and I am more content now.

I have had a really long day so far, I am extremely tired and just wanna go lie down for a while...but there is a workman here doing some repairs so I guess that, that is out..
just started preparing some tuna patties for tea, so will cook those later,

Hi and yes its a journey from Hell in many ways....:) but always thankfully that i wasnt a 30 year old mother.......seems a lot more dreadful when you are still so young:)

> Went to a funeral Monday my great Uncle he was the last of his siblings all 9 of them felt really sad and envious of him you know like going up there to meet everyone like my Mum and Dad his Mum etc. Felt upset all Monday night thinking about it than a cool breeze blew in from the window and gently ruffled the sheet I had on top of me I imagined it was my Mum and Dad reassuring me somehow, silly I know. After the funeral we all sat around a pub and talked about old times with my cousins. Never see them any other time except at funerals I told them all I'd be next for the box.

Her other sister also had it 20 yrs ago but had treatment early and survived to be a now elderly woman.
Awareness is the answer, with early treatment at the first inkling! A loving, lovely family helped too!
