Hi everyone and a Merry Christmas:) I think today has been one of the worst christmases of my life, I went to the home to have lunch with my stepdad after I had prepared everything at home for my Mum, sister and her family and my friend, I could not eat the christmas lunch that I paid $35.00 for it was not the best lol in fact after they reheated it as it was stone cold, I politely told them that I do not usually complain about anything but it was crap and to me it was, my step dad left his too lol I then went home picked my Mum up and took her to the home to visit and he had not even remembered I had been there with him for lunch 😞 My daughter and grandson did not come up as the weather is too bad, so I have spent a lot of the day crying sheesh but tomorrow is gonna be better:) I do hope everyone else had a good day♥

Girl you know Christmas day for many can be totally the pits...........but hey today is another day.

You must be very disappointed re the family not arriving............i couldnt get up to Brissie(Kallangur) either as the weather was so foul so spent Christmas Day on my todd whilst the OH ran around with his mob.........it is a difficult day for so many of us:(

OH JV, that is sad, hugs for you. The weather up there has affected so many, i feel sorry for the flood affected victims... I watch the weather channel and occasionally they show us footage of what it is like. Its terrible.

I had the outlaws in, made a special dessert with fresh fruit, Shatzi was sick all day ,worried me as she was throwing up but seems better today, poor baby.

Today or rather tonight going out to dinner, so have to go back to bed in a few mins to rest up a bit more. I am fine when I first get up but after about 20 mins begin to get vertigo sickness, almost every morning. Usually can cope ok but yesterday was a long day, we all had lunch and dinner together and though very relaxing I just have to watch my energy if I want to last the distance.

I would love to do some shopping, just locally. Once I have washed my hair for tonight I may see how I feel. It felt really good yesterday to put on nice clothes and makeup...I Looked pretty good if I say so myself, 🙂 OH kept smiling at me, he did a great job feeding us all, we all did something and MIL loves to set my table. I always have heaps of different serviettes and I ask her to choose what she likes. We get along very well together, we four and love to spend time together.

My parents went away for the weekend and my sisters all got together and are spending the weekend at the beach.

So its been a nice relaxing weekend, on and off the phone and with my dog in and out of my lap for comfort.

I hope your little four legged princess is better today.........maybe she might have some rich food fed to her?.........some of them cant stand a change in diet

Well today is another really wet day and I have put yesterday behind me and thanks guys for the hugs, I try not to be too down and count my many blessings so will look forward to 2011:)
I am not going to the home today as my sister is going up:)
As usual will be having left overs today as my fridge seems to be stacked with food lol
I am going to enjoy listening to Johnny Cash and pigging out:)

Hope everyone is feeling well.

Was a good day yesterday. Just hubby and I. Late breakfast as we slept in. Then late lunch. So just had my sweets for tea. Weather is chilly here today. Down to 15 and raining. So good day to just relax and read a book.

I remember the wet season when I lived in north Queensland. We got flooded every year. Roads cut etc. My sons are both in Townsville. Hoping everyone up there is safe and dry.
