If the person who comes up to measure is the actual owner of the company (or a dedicated employee) - they are very good at recommending colors as often looks different in a big expanse compared to a swatch or the like!

Hi Miss yes am thinking the same with the very big windows the silver might look a bit over the top........really dont want to distract from the art that will be on the wall......some of that makes a pretty strong statement

Am planning out where to hang what have a couple of very old didges. plus my piece of Pwerle might put all that in the entrance hall..........John just leaves all that stuff up to me:)

Hi JVH I am often told art work should not be used to match your decor lol (guilty here!). The OH has been a collector for years and he's guilty too! We are conservative too in decor. I am a fan of plain and simple and uncluttered. Im sure either the silver or the white will look great!

Hi JVH an auction house is the best venue to sell artwork. Always good to see pieces going to someone who will appreciate/respect it.

BP was 150/80 today OH very happy with himself but methinks with the powerful meds it should be even lower by now. At least it's heading in the right direction.

Tradie has knocked off  for the arvo to go and try and get surfing shots..........hes a bit of a whizz surf photographer so we have talked cameras none stop 🙂

Yes the art is next for me to sort out what im keeping and what im selling.....im getting there lol

Whether im still sane at the end of all this is another issue lol

Afternoon all,

 

Rang the diabetic educator and she said that its a warning sign to get my diabetes under control so I hav estarted walking again first walk in new shoes was great than the next time my toenail dug into my other toe and soaked my sock with blood.  Next time I got a slight cut on my toe from the shoes and bleed not as much as b4 and I got a hugh blister on my heel, have a special blister bandaid for it, I will have a few days off and back into it for 3 days I get up at 5am and go at 6am this morning it was lovely and cool as it rained last night,

C has not been to school all week says he doesnt want to go but he stays up all night not sure what to do...

Oh geez Kezza im sorry you are having such issues both with your health and C geez kids who needs them.

The teen years are beyond belief and they do test you big time.  Is he being bullied at school ?

Morning morning all...............waves to everyone had a bit of a lay in as the tradie not in till i think lunch time as wanted to get some surf photos but the light is lousy again for the quicksilver pro......coolangatta filled with all the surfing people

The saga of the renos continues..................neighter myself or the builder had a really close look at the windows in the room that is being done  Where the windows slide there is sort of a silicone weather shield type thing that has perished..........the house is nearly 50 years old.  Had 2 lots of glaziers up to see if it can be remedied but the short answer is in go 3 new windows........of course there is a 2 to 3 week delay in getting them in and then a days labour to pull out the 3 big windows and insert the new jobbies...........no wonder im snow white would rather spend that dough on a cruise Anyways am getting there or slowly going nutso lol
