And Miss sometimes i think the men can be like small kiddies:) can be difficult to handle lol And can relate to the doctor thing can and does get a bit much sometimes:(

Have you got a pair of long ugh boots to veg out in they are just so so warm got to go with the pure wool and the rubber sole....not exactly the most feminine garb lol

Hi JVH no news yet - bro can't get to speak to her dr!!! has made an appt. but prefers not to wait that long. Also no replies to emails. Not very good considering - tho she does seem ok now.

Lol at the ugg boots - yes I have numerous pairs of the sheepskin ones lol I wear them every day (I have a pair of lovely dressier leather boots I keep in my car to change into in car parks etc.) - do the shopping looking respectable and then back on with the uggs when I'm done! I also have an older pair of uggs for the dog park lol (in my car boot!).

Yesterday the OH told me I looked like Nanook from the North lol (at least I was warm)

Miss thats pretty tough that the doctor doesnt find the time to speak with your brother......some doctors do have tickets on themselves......we have a few surgeons that always like to be called Mr so and so............thankfully not all are like that lol .  Lets hope the family gets some contact soon.  Had a retro pair of ughs from the late 70s that i had hardly worn the Princess just had to have them when she saw them.......dark choc suede trimmed with a braid and lined with coffee coloured wool ....still have a pair of RMs that i have re soled so many times still wear and wear..........and are like wearing gloves leather is kangaroo which only improves with wear.......very expensive initially but well worth it

Yes not very comforting from supposedly a worldly renowned children's hospital and so difficult to reach her doc! No response is making us think there is nothing to worry about and able to wait for the first available appt.

Cold here too but sunshine made a difference!

Forgot my wedding anniversary lol and agreed to babysit my neice and nephew (he's 3) on sat night - having dinner fri night with friends anyway -

About to head out to run some errands. Still too wet for the doggie park - am looking forward to seeing friends tomorrow night - will wear plenty of layers and hope the restaurant is well heated lol!

Miss a lot to be said for wearing a pair of dressy jeans nice sweater boots and a full lenght wool overcoat for going out in the weather you guys are getting at the momento

Saw the black cockies this afternoon means we are in for rain and its forecast for tomorrow:)

Hi JVH sounds cold your way too!! I'm thinking at least we are half way through winter lol!
I'm lucky to own loads of coats/jackets - some of them very dressy - only problem with a long coat is where to hang it while you have your meal. Local restaurants don't have a coat facility and they tend to always fall off the back of the chair onto the floor lol!
Indian restaurant tonight with friends - we will pick them up enroute - means 3 can have a few wines and OH is the designated driver. I'm so lucky he HATES being passenger in a car I am driving he he!

hi Kezza hope it's a bit warmer your way! We accepted an invite (yet to be arranged) to go to Port Douglas with another couple for a few days. (Went with them once before to escape the cold). Was wonderful!

Littlie finally has an appt at the children's and tests scheduled from now until then. I thought I was having them overnight but it is actually next weekend - her and her baby brother.

Awesome day - sunshine and quite warm!! Only one jacket today lol. More of the same tomorrow - painter and gardener here today and painter back tomorrow.
