Hi Jen and Miss:-)

Had some bad news had my mammogram on Friday and they found a lump and did a biospy.  They had to stick the needle in 4 times and it makes this sound like a stapler.

Pretty sure its agressive cancer as it looks like it is outside the milk ducts as the lump is close to my chest I had to lie on my side with my arms over my head for him to get to it.

Am prepared for the worst and I;m going to ask them to take the other breast off if they can.  Not interested in reconstuction.

My mum had one breast off than found a lump in the other breast and told no one as she was very modest and it was too late for her the cancer travelled to her brain and she died from an anerism (sp?).  I beleieve this is an aggressive form as cancer as it spread to other parts of her body.

My school friend who I caught up with the other week has had a double mastemony. Ironic how I hooked up with her and the next week I go in and find out I might have bc as well.

Well I find out my results on Thursday and am having lunch with Shirley so I told her we might be having a farewell party for my breast, lol.

Kezza i read your message and my heart missed a beat............you get in and fight tooth and nail.........had BC 10.5 years ago lost one and some lymph then had chemo and rads......you got to fight every single day.

Miss.......fingers crossed with the little ones appointments.......she sounds like she has a lot in front of her as well big hugs too

Kezza and the worst thing is the wait between right now and going to see the doc....i wanted the surgeon to remove both but didnt and i too opted for no recon.......think the plastic surgeons should be operating on younger people or kiddies....however one is entitled to a free recon or was the last time the surgeon was chatting to me about it....am not into elective pain lol

Hugs Kezza - wait for the results hon before you panic! I'm so devastated you are going through this at all! Agree with JVH the waiting is a nightmare! Actually our JVH will be a wealth of knowledge every step!
Went through it a few yrs back and agreed to mastectomy on first surgery for removal of lump - it was sent to pathology while I was still out cold on the table (and it actually came back benign) -
To that point I understand what you are going through - JVH went through the entire debacle - and whatever the heck it is needs to get kicked to the curb!!! I'm thinking you are numb ATM and need more info soonest hon before you have to make any decisions! I'm hoping you have some support your way and certainly some better news!!!

I'm lost for words now after reading this - my day seems so trivial! Thanks JVH we are relieved to have the appt. Again it's wait wait wait!

Kezza and Miss both of you in your own hell at the moment.......always the fear of the unknown is often the hardest thing of all to deal with......and always the time totally drags when you are waiting for results....thinking of you both:)

Miss and Kezza so very many woman walk the BC path....so so glad Miss that your journey proved to be benign...........fingers crossed Kezza that yours is also:)

Thanks JVH - the hope is this will turn out to be a precautionary expedition as she is showing no more symptoms since. Just with her everything she says is taken with every seriousness. (One of my nephews used to complain 'mummy I can't BREATHE when you are talking on the phone) - (lol) -
Hope all is well your way! I'm lying low with a sore throat trying to head it off before it becomes anything.

Kezza also have everything crossed for you! I think I saw you get your results on Thursday. The waiting is debilitating and cruel! So sorry you are going through this and hoping like mad the results are favorable ones!

Tradies were a no-show today - was quietly relieved as couldn't be bothered with it today!

Thanks JVH - tradies have been and gone today.
Have now been told to cease further works pending more insurance co. Inspections. Wish they would make up their minds! They prior said any further damage resulting from the leaks would not be covered Unless we rectified the cause - (not that anything has been covered yet lol). I'm more upset about having no ballistrade on a second storey with children and pets to be watched like hawks!

Hope your day is going well! I'm thrilled no sore throat today - touch wood lol!

Miss glad the sore throat has been kicked to the curb....geez what a performance with the insurance and the tradies.

Geez how hard is it for them to organise the railings have to wonder about the intellect of some people

Busy busy week i think next week for me.....son needs work done on their rental 140 klm round trip from here and  you guessed it have to go and watch the tradies like hawks..........life is never dull or boring lol

Hi Miss and Jen,

Been called in early for my results this is a sign it doesnt look good as she booked me in for a long appointment just wanting these boobs off now.  Have pain in the left one there just weapons of mass destruction for me, lol.

My friend is going in with me, but I'm worried about how I'm going to prepare meals for C and I.  Its going to be a big operation but I am hoping I dont have to have chemo as I hate being sick just want the boobs off and to be done with it.
