Love this time of the year - Australian Open starts tomorrow 😀

Kopes - what do you think about the changes about to take place tomorrow in Denmark?  Much gossip about the rationale for the abdication sadly.  I was reading about the nature of the celebrations - huge fireworks in Tivoli.  Would be wonderful to be there 🎉🎊

Nics, I was reading about the flooding in Yea - hope your kin are all safe and well!

We had the most amazing thunderstorm here last night.  The thunder was cracking right above our home and the lightning was amazing.  There were even red sprites above the lightning - very unusual to see but very exciting really.   It took our power out for a while but nothing worse - except we have to correct the clocks now lol

The rain was torrential and this morning all the garden is looking so much greener!

Anyway - have an enjoyable weekend all - whatever you are up to.  We are expecting temps in the high 30s/low 40s here today 🙄

Poor Nics - just after she moved into her new abode too 😞

Hope her pain levels have been well managed and that she will be able to soon play her games on here and/or watch a bit of tennis to relieve the boredom.

Tennis elbow is so much better than what poor Nics is going through. 

Thank heavens the Australian Open is only on once a year - but then there is always Wimbledon and the French and US Opens!!!!

Next things will be saddle soreness from the Tour de France though hahahaha

Two nights tennis to go - it has sure been and Open of ups and downs. Great to see the youngsters coming through - makes a good future for tennis!

Welllllll thats it for another year but what a fantastic result!  We were horrified after the first two sets but watched with a sense of wonderment as he fought back to WIN!!!!

Jannick Sinner is such a delightful young man - no arrogance - and I believe he will continue to be that way with his team and his parents standing beside him.

I admit to some bias having spent a great deal of time near his home town when I was living in Italy lol

40 here today - gardener has been - tempted to cavort under the sprinklers now
