Hi Marg and a big welcome to the thread.......lovely of you to drop by and yes we are a friendly bunch here and of course its going to remain that way with me at the helm:) Life is too short for hassles:)

Pauline as Jen said today is another day and I hope it is a great one for you.

Jen the heavy frypan does wonders for caged lions. LOL Just joking. My girls and I have a running joke we say hit him over the head with the frypan when our hubbis annoy us.


Well yesterday we went to see the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens. Wow how great that was. Has been done by volunteers. There is heaps to see. The roses in particular. Though they were at the end of the season I can just imagine how it must look. R met up with someone who knew his dad and cousin. So he was a happy chappy. Then we decided to walk to the club for a while. It is a 8 kilometre round trip. Talk about getting plenty of exercise. And we lost but it was nice to go out together. Boy I slept very well last night. Nearly nine by the time I woke up. Today not much planned. Except we are going to have some lovely fresh cooked yabbies for lunch. Yummo. Then I might walk down to the town area. Oh and I have lost another 700 grams. I wonder what is it with this 700 a week??? But it is good that I am slimming down.

Okay we went to the Parks Dept. and checked re the roads etc to Mungo. Looks like we will be okay. Now it is raining but it may not be up there. So will ring the local police for a report. I am so looking forward to seeing it.

Time for breakfast. So will be back later. Hope everyone has a great day.

I hope so too, purps, just wish a certain poster would just leave me alone, i have had her on ignore, but every now and then, just sneak a peek, I still have the right to stand up for myself and my beliesf instead of being belittled for being a christian and following mt beliefs and my faith...

I have tried to be civil and evn apologised when I was in the wrong....guess some people you cant win with,, and I also realize that you will not always get on with everyone, still no excuse for constant attacks, and nastiness,
I am going to keep her on ignore,,she aint worth my time or effort anymore.
I have enough to dael with without added garbage!

So today I have to go to the hospital to pick up some meds, wish I could just nick down the chemist, but its not that easy, these tablets are restricted and if I was to get them from the chemist they would cost me $380 ,but if I get them from the hospital pharmacy they are $5.30, just that it takes me over an hour to get there and back..and the chemist is only 7 mins from here.. oh well cest la vie!

I am hoping purps that you can make it back to Adelaide early next year too, our zoo is getting Panda Bears..it will be the only zoo in Australia with them, and I reckon it will be an incredible thing to see,The zoo here has undergone a huge redevelopment, and monarto zoo is the biggest open range zoo in Australia now, they have just expanded by another 400 acres or hectares I dont quite remember???I think hectares is an old measurement..
I am going to make a few cards today, and I also need to do some more of my craft room, have not done any for about a week and a bit, have not been to well!
Oh well I think I might go lie down for a bit, did not sleep too well last night, and was up early this morning, will explain wht at happened last night..

Bit my stupid acrylic nails off yesterday they were so thick...my nails are really long but I lost 2 so I went to a nail person today and she put acrylic stuff ova my natural nails and repaired the other 2 trouble is it cost me $65 and she didnt charge me for a couple of things nails are big business, lol. Good news but refills are every 2 weeks not 1 and a half with acrylics and the first refill is half price 🙂 Now I have nice hard natural bar 2 nails, I have never had long nails been a nail biter most of my life..Enough of my nail dilemma, lol.
Dont worry about the knockers Pauline one here reckons I am claiming to have a degree.
Great to hear of yr travels PCT, any pics? Pretty please, lol.

Hi missnogal yes is torrential rain here so to unsafe in my opinion to be out and about so kicking back and taking a very rare day off 🙂
