Night Jen, it's raining and windy here. I picked Mum up from her Seniors Group this afternoon and thought we may have to swim home, it bucketed down, you could barely see the road in front.

Good morning. Up early today. Can"t sleep. So thought may as well get up. The butcher opens at 6 and is only a very short walk. So I thought may as well head down there and then over to Safeway to get what we need. Then it is all out of the way early.

Spoke to both the girls last night. They are okay if not a bit wet. Poor T had to drive home from work in the pouring rain. Said it took her ages. But I was so relieved she got home safe. S says her brother is mean as he won't bring her down R's boat. Can not blame him as he does live in Townsville. LOL I remember the 1974 floods even though I had left by then. My parents were still in Brisbane and we lost everything we had in storage.
