Hi Purps and yes werent the 74 floods something else.....we were at Stones Corner at the time....and my late hubby was on tour....we had actually going to be married in the Jan 74 but had to change it to the December 73 as duty came and comes first:) The area that we had our reception was totally under water so in a way we were super lucky:)

Gooooooooooood morning everyone and hope everyone is ok with this dreadful weather ........still teeming down rain and blowing a gale....had a phone call from the nursing home last night they thought they may have had to all been evacuated due to this dreadful rain......what a nightmare thank goodness that didnt evenutate....fingers crossed that it eases real soon:)

Back to the farm............

G'Morning all, rain, rain, rain, and more rain with wind, I have a funeral to attend in the morning I sure hope this rain has gone, but the forcaste doesn't sound like it will be. The twit next door has a pool which is filthy and overflowing, what a mess X-( He probably forgot he even has a pool and would need a search party to help find it in the long grass. They have 6 children, who are all in the care of DOC's.

I have been booked to make a sponge for one of Mum's dear old friends, they are having a biggest morning tea next Wednesday. I have never made a sponge, so I am going to do a trial run today. I'm making Mum a lemon slice to take, found the recipe on the net.

Missnogal, I need to do a weigh in today, I will let you all know how i'm going.
