I'm more interested in why people believe rather than the numbers.

I think you have a pretty good idea already and you will not accept their explanation, so what's the point?

Oh yes, you find them entertaining.....

We have a 5 yo here who often questions the things people tell her.

She is told that everyone thinks differently, believe different things and that is their right, just like it is hers, to believe as she chooses but we can all still be polite about it, even if we don't agree. She gets it.

Can I asked when you converted from Atheism to Christianity Quilts?

I was never an atheist.

That does not mean that I don't allow others to have their own beliefs.

Actually I'm reading a bit about the psychology and behaviour of our species that explains why we have a need to make up things we don't understand and the need believe. I'll start a thread on this soon.

And hell yeah, They're way entertaining:-D

Ofcourse you were. Everyone's born an atheist. Noone's born with a religious belief. Either they're indoctrinated with it or they latter in life decide for themselves what to believe.

So when did you convert?

Infants and children are not atheists.

Which God do infants and children believe in?:|

They are brand new little souls from God.

How does a baby reject a belief in a God?

Does that mean that all Atheists have the intellectual capacity of a newborn? ?:|
