I had the barium swallow, they have changed the taste, havent made it any better, just a bit bitter.

I asked the dr. could he see anything & he said there seems to be a problem there, will send results to the gastroenterologist.

They had me lying on my stomach drinking the stuff & he studdied those pics for ages........so will have to wait now.

Freezing here in The Dandenongs and been a tiny bit of snow.

Had a lovely lunch and ate far to much.  Tasmanian scallops for three - that's you, gil and me... then I had a creme brulee with icecream and toffee...It's been years since I had icecream, I had forgotten how nice it was.

And with that two small glasses of champagne... I do mean small but very nice

Did the dog food shopping and was thankful to get home.  We have a deluge drop down on my way home.  It got dark and the clouds were coming down the vallies with sweeping rain which overtook us before I got home.

Still now safe and warm 🙂

Once before I asked after an ultrasound on my pelvis, and the technician said *I cant tell you, but you will be glad you came*, turns out I had a huge cyst on my ovary, that was twisted.

I am seeing my GP on monday will tell her what he said.

I know what you mean about being over doctors.  Between my dear friend who was slowly dying from a Golden Staph infection doctors managed to insert along with an injection into her spine when she was having a knee operation and me getting cancer during her long ten years of doctors and hospitals I really did get totally over the whole medical thing.

The tests, the waiting, the results that required more waiting, and more tests, or operations or medications.. god!  I got so sick of it all.

Now I see my doctor once a year unless something crops up, which is very rare and that's that.  I have all the inoculations known to man ...  well, nearly all... flu, polio, tetnus, pneumonic wotnot (not plague) measles... Oh! and whooping cough... I'll be damned if I am going to be caught out ill with any of the above.

Living on my own I give it all a lot of thought but between my doctor and me I think we have it sewn up - well for the moment anyway. 🙂

Mind you, two knee replacements added to the list of waiting and appointments and operations, but by golly, I'm so glad I had them done, it made all the difference to my quality of life.
