OH just told me the driver who took him to the hospital today was doing 150 kph? in a 110 area..?

what do I do....if anything..he arrived safely home...but next time?

just spoke to the cleaner who comes from the same agency and she suggested that I ring them and say OH was a bit concerned that the driver was going over the speed limit, in confidence, and hope that they wont send the same driver next week.X-(

Was OH in the front with the driver?  If not then he wouldn't know what speed he was doing.

Ambulances don't have to stick to the speed rules, the drivers are licenced to drive at much faster speeds, providing they are doing it safely, and they do have the training for that.

They usuall do have their lights and sirens on.

I have been in an amblance doing 150 down a very long highway to get to a child who was having febrile convulsions... thankfully we got there in time and was able to transport it to hospital... going at a far more sedate speed 🙂

Gil I wouldn' worry about it, they won't do the same speed delivering him home and, as I said, they are trained for speed.

Went to a remedical massager today for my back.  She's only five minutes away from me and that makes such a difference, as usually I have to drive 30 minutes away for most things.

I am hoping it will do my back some good, as it has been really terribly painful...

but I'm still breathing :^O

No darki it wasn't an ambulance just a small sedan, driven by a 60ish man....OH reckons he was older than him:O.....they have various cars and drivers, so you never get the same one twice....well haven't yet.  It's not free....$20 for this trip which is quite a way away to a hospital diabetic clinic to visit the podiatrist for his toe ulcer.... it costs that much in petrol for us to do it, and then we can NEVER find a parking spot at the hospital.   I either park illegally or just drive round and round for half an hour. Car park is always full.   Much easier all round.  Well it was except for this old speedster.  Puts me off a bit...not safe at all.

We didn't call them City Mobbers....more like 'Westies" think my kids did the same.

Ha Gilly.  We surfers weren't discriminatory....city mobbers were anybody who had to cross the bridge to get to Manly, including those from the eastern suburbs.
