A really nice lady told me that this is a really nice place to be.
So I thought I might bring a plate of scones and knock on the door.
I was born in 1947, however I noticed my twin purps is here.
Heyyy channy's mum... how lovely to see you here... Yes you qualify for sure.
How is life for you? How's everything going along since we last saw you...
Pass a scone over and would you like tea or coffee?

I woke up this morning thinking about old money.. that which only our age group would really remember now...
a farthing (dropped as legal tender in Britain in 1960)
Halfpenny
penny
threepence (thruppence)
sixpence
a shilling
2 bob
a ten shilling note
a pound note
£1.1s. = a guinea
It's been sort of spring/winter down here recently.. want to garden, but stil a bit too cold 😞

Good morning all.
I have to get my garden (for the want of a better word) sorted very soon. I have just moved house and this has not been kept well. I live close to a creek and have been told that my place is a snake thoroughfare :_|
The Buckwheat sisters, Beryl, Beverley, Bonnie and Beatrice will be arriving next weekend. If there is a boy in the mix I shall call him Bob.
The Buckwheat sisters are guinea fowl. Named such because of the noise they make. They sound like they are saying buckwheat buckwheat buckwheat. They are not a snake's best friend and should lessen the the snakes desire to wander through my yard.

Good morning all:-)
Channy.Love the names you have for the Buckwheat sisters.:-)
We have a creek at the back of the property where we live, dont, well not yet seen alot of snakes, we have mainly foxes that live along the creek.
Have a good day everyone, sunny day for us in The Dandenongs, would be even better if the wind wasnt blowing a gale.

We used to live with a creek on our boundary....No snakes, but we did have a porcupine dug in.....much to the puzzlement of the dogs:^O
