We have another public holiday today.

Kids here go back to school today for the final term for the year.

I think its call Family and Community Day.

The school holidays here finish this coming friday.

Really...........never heard of it. Is it just a local holiday?

Yes it is local it replaced another that was taken off the Public Service

some years ago.

Oh, okay.

Our next public holiday is next month......Melbourne Cup Day.

Evening gerries.

Different states--different public hols.

Put in for the monday of melb week months ago.

Shop shut on the tuesday.

Have to work the sat------but still get a long weekend!

I used to work all weekends and public holidays, that constituted 3 months of the year 😮

Well a lovely day down here and I did an hour's gardening, which was nice.  Back not really behaving but I am bullying it 🙂
