Things here still unpleasant so am just going about what i need to do see mother etc..........have a big clean up of my things etc.
There is an old saying blood is thicker than water the OH will defend his daughter 33 years of age until his last breathe no matter her standard of behaviour..........and im starting to realise this sometimes things take a long time to sink in with me:) .
On a brighter note my darling son and his Angel have finally settled on a house in the Wellington Point area........that will settle mid August. They had looked and looked and we had looked at so much rubbish that i was thinking this house is never going to happen:)
Anyways this place came on the market on Monday afternoon they saw it first cab tuesday.......put in an offer and after much pressure on the sellers they finally agreed:).......so lots of excitement with them........both offered and said mum if you need to come and stay with us for a while till you get yourself sorted......you are more than welcome.....of course a couple of mother in law jokes ensured:)
So feeling quite bright about everything.......and not going to let the situation here ruin my bright outlook:)
Thats enough of a rant for me.......time to get tidied for the day go see Mother and come back here and continue the big tip out:)

Yep it surely is a magical day here on the Gold Coast. The sun is shining, the birds are singing........ and the kids have all gone to school]:)
oh, and master 11's choir won a few awards at a competition last night so he is a bit chuffed. I didn't get to hear them as I help out at Brigades on a Thursday night. so how nice was this, because dad was working and I was at Brigades, I was going to have trouble getting Jory home from the comp, but his teacher very generously gave him a lift back. I just thought that this was really nice

JVH I take my hat off to you regards taking note that despite what is happening in your life - the sun does still shine! Yours is such a common dilemma (with step daughters/sons)- never easy. I just hope your OH comes to his senses quickly or it will be his loss! I admire your strength this is a huge step for you. Please also take care of your health - after that swine flu - and now this - stress can take its toll! Power to you jvh - and I hope the visit with your mother goes well. (())
Nef - jvh is right - you can't go on struggling like this - please do get your meds changed/or get a second opinion. I know depression is a long hard road - but it can be helped.
Waves to libby, dame, chit-chat, scatty, kyliemaree, dancing, nohousework, (good luck for the party nohousework!), pjbear, and everyone else on here. Have a great day.
Going vintage shopping today. Looking for a party outfit but all I end up doing is buying cups and saucers for my sister lol! (She collects those pretty, old-fashioned ones).

So much happening with people on the thread, I wish you all just a bit of sunshine with the curves life throws at different stages!
I am a happy lil vegemite this morning as I have been out early to see a couple of my seniors and they were quite well, and had a cuppa and mr made some pies and cakes for me to drop off which were well received, must admit I had a bit much cake lol but will no doubt exercise it off ( yeah right lol)
Take care everyone and God bless♥

Hi Missnogal and yes i understand what you are saying re step children step adults.........i just want peace and quite and to live a quiet life as well.......and in time i will, nothing has beaten me to date:)
Yes naturally the OH is an exlempary parent.......totally cant fault him with the way he looks after and protects his kids.......but like i said the issue is the last one who is 33 and has never adjusted to her Mumma passing over.....all of which i can understand.
However in saying that she is into big mind games as well......or would at least like to think she is an expert in that area:)
Thems the breaks........am going to go out and grab lunch with my aged friend and the old boy can prepare his own lunch:):)
