Well done Nef,you sound so much better i'm glad your following your dreams.Take care:-x

don't worry libs - wind affects all of our lives - we understand

Just watched that clip about Baby brinna from the us, who was raped and murdered by her parents and uncle very disturbing...hope they get the lethal injection...they say the police officers attending the crime scene were in tears...so sad...

> Good morning!!
> I am sorry for all the sad I see here, hope it improves for all of you.
> I have some wonderful news, I visited with my mil yesterday and the change is amazing.
> She is getting up every day for short spaces, sitting on the verandah, or in the living room and taking baths again. She is also eating, small amounts, I am talking 1/4 of a crumpet with 4 baked beans on it, or 1/4 of a weetbix.
> The only thing I can put it down to is the morphine patches. It has eased the pain and changed her physical and mental state? That is what I think of course.
> We are not expecting a miracle but at least she is not starving to death now. 🙂 I had not seen her for 3 weekends.

Hi Karen thats marvellous news re the MIL and sounds like the morphine is doing its job.......must be so nice to see her taking an interest in food etc etc:)

> I think that post came out a bit wrong, the Depression and Cancer thread on Darkies forum are not combined, just at the same place:)

Hi Dame thank you so much for that:)

> Hi Guys, was'nt able to log on yesterday, when we have windy weather it buggers up my broadband and the internet and home phone go down.
>
> Anyway my little man is 100% better than on saturday,we went to the doctors and she put him on antibiotics. So am hoping no-one else gets sick.
>
> Pj have you tried Domiciliary Care my mum use to work for them as a cleaner, she would go to peoples houses every fortnight. Not sure how much it costs now but don't think it is a huge amount. It would help ease the burden of housework for you.
>
> Jvh hope you are looking after yourself, maybe you should tell the OH you don't want the daughter to come around until you move out.If he wants to see her make him go to her.You should'nt have to feel uncomfortable in your own home.BIG HUGS to you.
>
> Hi Miss we have a nice day here today so am hoping it comes your way.
>
> Hi to Dame and Rosieglen i clicked on that link,it sounds like a great support group for people.
>
> hi and waves to all will BBL to check on my favorite thread and people:-x

Hi Libby and marvellous news about Baby and being a whole lot better.......they are such a worry when they are so young as they tend to go down very quickly i guess the plus is that they bounce back super quickly as well.....what a marvellous country we live in with such good docs available to everyone......has to make one glad to be living in Aussie.

I have told him that i dont wish her to come around until her manners improve or at least she shows me common respect.......unfortunately the OH thinks that his Princess cant do anything wrong....i think hes quite weak to put it mildly:)

Anyways im off to spend the day with my Family tomorrow and be there for pest and building so am going to have a nice day up in Brissie tomorrow:) Cant wait:)

Hi everyone!

So wonderful to see things picking up for those in distress!

Karen great news regards your mil - hope she continues to improve in leaps and bounds!

Pjbear - sounds like you need some help - at least with the housework - libby's idea sounds like the go!

Nef - yeah! So relieved to see such great improvement - please keep it up and best of luck with the nursing venture!

JVH I could not believe what I was reading!! Your kitchen is your kitchen - I could not tolerate your situation either - I cannot believe the rudeness of your step d. Very frustrating and just not on!

Hello dame - always a pleasure to see you!

Libby great news regards your little one! Thanks for the weather too - much improved today.

waves to scatty, chit chat - (nohousework how was the PARTY?) dancing, mermaid, and everyone else (())

Quiet day here - went vintage shopping yesterday and bought white vintage gloves and white belt and some white boots lol and a load of cups/saucers for my sister. Still need to find the rest of the outfit.
