Hi Rosie and so very sorry to hear about your brother.......my Mumma is 12 years into that long and horrible journey:(

Hugs to everyone and totally jiggered been one massive day........sonny boy came down for the day and we did some serious tidying up long chat went and saw Mother .........who has been 5 years in high care today:(

Very special day for myself and my son.......he was in tears as he said to me Mumma never thought that after your BC diagnosis that you would still be here and telling me what to do........life can indeed have some very special moments:)

Hey JV, I lost my mum to BC in 1977 also a great aunt had a breast off she had one breast off and was too embarrassed to go back to the doc when she found a lump in the other one. I have a claytons lump hasnt grown in 5 years just sits there so they reckon its benign but they said my breast tissue is prone to BC and given my history chances are I will have it. thinking about getting them looped off, lol.
I wish my mum was here ever day she would be 74 if she was she had me at 35,,,always imagine what life would be like with her still here...yr son is one lucky fella...some people recover some dont Dad drank his way to death...

Hi everyone

JVH - nice you got the day with your son - 5yrs with your mum in the home is a long time of worry/anguish. I had an aunt and 2 friends diagnosed with bc around the same time - my aunt and the older friend are now cancer free - my youngest friend (43) sadly didn't make it.

Rosieglen I do hope your brother is ok - best wishes to you.

Hi nef - happy farming! Enjoy the pond. Hope you are feeling good!

Purple hope you get over the swine flu soonest!

Waves to dame, nohousework, libby, kyliemaree, scatty, dancing, Karen, mermaid and everyone who pops in -

Didn't get to the shops today too wet and cold. Tomorrow picking my neice up from school and having a sleepover. Might take her shopping as well.

Have a great night everyone and sweet dreams! (Passes around a nightcap -)

Hi Missnogal.........its a very fickle thing this BC doesnt have rhyme or reason as to who it selects and turns their life into a rollercoaster........

It can be a strange journey.........but boy do you meet some wonderful people along the way

Certainly not cold here the pool got used today as did the beer fridge:)

Yes its been so tough with mother........been a massive learning curve:)

JV not sure what gettiong tested for the gene entails can you enlighten me please:-)
