We have had a shocker of a few years, but coming out the other side now, so it is time to look ahead and see what is next. I can't return to cooking full time, and I can't see myself as a full time teacher. My interests are English Literature, Modern History - but I can't work out what job options these would create. have always been interested in the Law, but think I am too old to start that career.... what else could I do?
Hi Kylie and you go girl you go as well:) Read both you and Nefs threads with a huge smile on my face:)
Have you been say to a careers adviser?
And why not go into Law if that is what interests you why not?
Reading both of your threads bought to mind a super famous Australian painter.....Lloyd Reece........think i spelt the surname correctly..........he never lifted a brush till he was 75........and he painted unabated till the wonderful age of 95........when he totally lost his sight and could no longer see to paint., he died 6 months after hanging up his boots so to speak.
Law is really an ageless profession.........a bit like medicine
Im guessing the moral of the story is that one is never too old to get out there and grab that dream.
I know my son deeply regrets not doing a degree when in service......in point of fact hes trying like mad to get back in:)

Never to old to learn I think. If you are thinking of changing carrers, I say go for it. Good luck to both of our ladies.
Well R is coming over to pick me up soon. So ends two wonderful relaxing days for me. I have had such a lovely time, I think I may repeat it before I head off grey namading again.
Have a great day everyone.
