> Good evening everyone! Just dropping in to say Gday......Gday!!! LOL
>
> Kerry, read about your altercation with a kangaroo....very scary! They can really damage your car in a bad way, so you were indeed lucky that you, your son, and your car emerged more or less unscathed, except of course for some shock and upset!!
> Hoping you get some positive news re your interview last week!!
>
> Dame.........oh dear me re the car, and extra money it's costing you. Yes, a RACQ inspection would have been good, but oh well, as long as it is reliable, gets you around and doesn't cost you too much! They are a great little car. My Hyundai Getz is great, never misses a beat.
> Do you have airconditioning in it? That's the other thing to get checked up......the air con needs servicing to keep it running efficiently. Mine was re-gassed recently, has made a big difference to it's cooling power.
>
> I am off to the Dr's in the morning, have been getting bad acid reflux of a night, and been scolling the Gaviscon, so obviously need that checked up. I did have a small sliding hiatus hernia picked up on a Gastroscopy some years ago, so that's probably it.
>
> Plus I have been very down over the past couple of months [despite the good news of last week], not sleeping well, weepy, feeling worthless because I don't have a job, eating and eating to the point where my weight is of major, major concern, and just have a 'can't be bothered anymore with anything' type attitude.......all signs of depression.
>
> Anyways, enough of my whining and whinging, folks have it far worse than me.
>
> Take care, hope all that is wrong becomes right for you, and have a nice evening!

Hi Lilly and am so sorry to hear that you are down.....and no you are not whining whinging whatever.....

Hope you have a nice doctor that can help you and have you up and running again.....depression can be so difficult to deal with and of course one usually looks so dammed healthy when one has it.....have to suffer it or have suffered it to understand"}

Hope you are feeling peachy very very soon"}

Gooooooooooooooooood morning all and thank goodness the old boy has gone to play golf:)

Do men think differently to us do they think at all?:) Am quite convinced that the old boy has selective hearing even if im standing right in front of him and explaining everything very calmly and quitely

Things have improved to a certain degree on the home front but i guess me being so dammed independent for so many years doesnt help

Oh well whinge over..........am off to go and do some gardening:)

Have a great day everyone:)

Good morning all.

Know what you mean JV. Sometimes it is like talking to a bric wall. LOL Mine actually has hearing aids. He just does not wear them. He used to complain about me and my hearing all the time. I wear both aids. So frustrating.

Well I am so sore, light headed, headachey and just plain miserable. Going to go back to the doctor if I can get in today. Suppose to be ging to see my grand children this arvo. Looks like it might be on the back burner. Have not seen these for a while and the baby I have not seen at all. Gees makes me so mad.

Have a great day everyone. BBL

purps, this bug you have had really knocks people out for six, and even afterwards can affect you for some time.

Maybe you've been doing too much, even if it has been just a bit of going visiting/shopping etc.

I found that with the Ross River Virus I had back in March/April, I was still weak if I tried to do too much for weeks after I had supposedly 'recovered'.

And sadly we are not as young as we used to be, even if in our minds we are.

Please take care of yourself, take time out for resting, and as someone else suggested, extra vitamins etc. And don't overdo things. It may well rebound on you if you rush things.

jv........I can't say my fiance makes me feel like you feel re your husband, but defnitely my ex hubby did. I had a quick read back on this thread, and see you have had some problems. I do hope things get better for you.
Hugs!

Cheery afternoon everyone!

JVH - selective hearing is absoloutely common in men - as well as being thoughtful at times. My oh doesn't think to climb 2 flights of stairs to the kitchen with his dishes (bedrooms are downstairs) - to save me hobbling up with a sprained foot lol!

Hey libby hope all going well in beautiful S.A. for ya! (p.s. don't try making lip gloss at home lol - gigantic sticky mess!)

Lilly sorry to hear you are feeling down. Hopefully when you see the gp regards the reflux he can help. So glad things are great for you on the home front.

Hey nef how's the no drinking going? Hope you are feeling better for it!

Dame hope you are out enjoying those beautiful new wheels! Also hope the weather is much kinder up north than it is down here - cold, wet and windy today.

Ok finished babysitting for the day - 18m nephew scared me to death by having one of his sisters blocks in his mouth - lucky I watch him like a hawk. Off for a late lunch now - have a great day all!
