Had some minor flooding through the house on Monday with that horrible storm we had,No electrical damage thank god.The water was pouring in through the laundry door and sliding back door,i think i used every towel, quilt cover and sheet set to try and absorb the water.Thank god the OH was working late me and the older boys did a brilliant job of stopping any major damage. So i have been trying to get all the wet stuff washed and dried without much success oh well such is life.
Pj glad you survived with only a tree down,i had to pick my son up from work experience out at Elizabeth on Monday arvo, we were driving on the expressway heading home when the storm hit.God i've never been so scared driving before we slowed down to about 60km's and couldn't see anything in front of me very very scary.
Jvh would so love to send you some of this rain i'm a little bit over it,sounds like you had a wonderful day yesterday glad you enjoyed the exhibition.
Scatty congrats on the new car,i remember when we got the kia carnival i didn't even how to turn the headlights on.I had to ask a lady in the carpark who had a carnival as well how to do it very embarrasing.
Hey Hot Chillie Woman, hope Mr B dosn't get hurt fixing your Blind while it's flapping in the wind,i was only thinking yesterday i wished i had married a handyman unfortunatly mine is'nt the least bit handy.
Purple hope your hip holds up well today:-)
Hi to Nef,Rosie,Lilly,Dancing and everyone else:-x
I've been meaning to ask has anyone else got that annoying magnifying glass thingy that pops up on everything?

JVH so good you enjoyed the exhibition - nice to have a relaxing day out.
Pjbear glad the only damage was a fallen tree - must have been wild!! Best wishes for your tests/results and I do hope your mum brings you something wonderful back from Canberra because you deserve it!
Purple hope the pt wasn't too taxing after you have been ill - take it easy!
Hi Dame - hope you enjoyed the visit with your sister and got that blind fixed! Weather lately is so unpredictable.
hi libby - OMG driving in that torrential rain - I hate 'driving blind' - so scary - my OH is not a handyman either lol - fortunately my brother is a builder (and he loves me!)
It's raining here now - just finished dinner - tuna steak with mustard marinade and little boiled potatoes and some spinach. Was very nice. Didn't wait for OH it's 7.30 almost and he's still at work. Babysat today - easy day tomorrow.
Sweet dreams everyone!
