Not a lot to report.........Mother still with us........still not drifting and seemed to know that we were there for her:)

Kids have gone back to Brissie Missie job full on and Sonny boys still only doing casual.........and the way things are both too scared to take off time just at the moment

Dog tired and might have a bite to eat and have a rest........surely need it:)

Hope everyone had a nice weekend........and got to spend quality time with their nearest and dearest:)

Hope everyone managed a good weekend. I am taking my mother second hand car shopping tomorrow (hers is too big/old) - so I have taken on board lessons learned from the Dame and hopefully we can find her something nice. Treating her for lunch afterwards at the local by the water.

My thoughts are with you JV and Dame. Not an easy week for either of you from what I have read. Hugs to you both.

Well we had a lovely day yesterday. Went to Carrara markets, had a picnic lunch by the beach and then went to Pacific Fair. Very relaxing.

Tis morning I am off to PT again. Not feeling real well but this time it is my ulcers giving me a bit of trouble. Will see how I feel closer to the time.

Got to start the big clean today. Oh joy. So exciting. Yeah right. Groaning here.

Just in from being down for an early to the nursing home.....grabbed a few groceries and am going to have a bit of a rest before heading down later on

Mother is still with us.......she has the canula in the tummy for the morphine.......and a poly opiate patch to her back.......the doctor still wont start the morphine pump........according to him that starts when she stops eating and drinking.......to my certain knowledge she has had approximately 3 oz of water since i was down there yesterday and nothing else.......words fail me right now:(

Naturally the OH just had to go to golf.......never bothered to ask if id like some company.....has to be one of the most selfish people that i have met for a very long time........of course its going for acupunture and golf again on Wednesday. I didnt think it would have and was too much to ask whether i was ok on my own or not:( Maybe im being a bit to sensitive


Well thats my rant over for the morning:)

JV rant all you like. I have found that some men do not seem to be able to handle these things or maybe they just choose not too. I know R was not that supportive of me at times when I really could have done with it. But I figure now I can not turn back time but it has made me a lot stronger and I do not rely on him for a lot of things. Sometimes I just can not be bothered telling him things either and that is the sad part. Sorry for the rants.

well, i am home again, thanx for all your kind wishes and prayers, I had emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder,there was a gall stone blocking the bile duct, I was in theatre for 4 hours and have 4 small keyhole incisions, I am still quite sore and not feeling 100% but give it a week or two , and i should be a new person..

jv, hope your mum is resting in herself and finding some calm, and you too...

Had my gall bladder out 20 years ago. No keyhole surgery then. 😞

Yes you are so right the more weaker they are the stronger they make us feel........am just so over all the rubbish:(
