Have been absent due to large work load. Hard to keep up with all your doings.:-)
Pj look after yourself, Jvh hope you and your mum coping ok, kessa, thanks for remembering me.
Hello to dame, kylie, karen, no-housework, purps and miss.
Aussie, thanks for the pick - my cat does the same when he's totally relaxed.:-D
For anyone who's interested my diet is going well - slow but steady - lost over 4kg in 6 weeks. CSIRO rocks!!!
Hope you have all survived the winds, dusts, and other life challenges over the last couple of weeks - have a good long weekend and don't forget to put the clocks back (oh I will really miss my sleep!).
Best wishes to all.

the locum came out and said that I have a mild infection, so after a injection and something to help me sleep I actually feel good today!!well good for 4.30 in the morning LOL!I am just having a drink then I am going to fix his Lord and masters kittylitter box, chuck in a load of washing and head back to bed, at least that way i have had a good start to the mornings routine...
I got my electricity bill which had hit $295.00 just for me, it wasn't until I reread and reread the bill that I realized that I was $170 in credit...WHEW..
Jv hugs to you and your mum, she is a fighter and I guess when her time comes then she will be at rest..
my next door neighbour is the most amazing person i know, she is 88 still lives on her own, cooks ,does her own washing, showers and does the minor housework on her own, does the shopping with some help from her niece and a lady comes once a week to vaccuum her floors, and yet she still has time to bake cakes and bikkies for all the neighbours!!! I love her like a Gramma, if I get to be that age and be that good I will be blessed...
I also hate daylight savings, who needs extra light when it is sooo hot , and for it to still be light at 8.30pm?????
oh excellenty work on the diet scatty, I have been on the csiro diet and I lost 23 kilos on it, but over the last 6 weeks I have lost 17 kilos...but thats cos I have not been well, but I am determined to lose some , through hard work soon.. well the washing is not going to put itself in the machine, so have a good morning and I will bbl!
hugs to you all, esp jv and her lovely mum!

Just thought I would let you know that things are progressing here, my step dad is to go into a high care dementia facility which will probably be Blue care run by the Uniting Church.
He is to go in initially for 2 full weeks so as to give Mum a break and then hopefully he will accept part time respite, not sure how it is all going to work as the census of opinion is that once he goes in he will not come out again due to his aggressiveness, but will see what happens.
He still has not been told and my brother Gary will be doing that and taking him there.
Lots of paper work to be sorted yet, the assessment team have done their bit but there is the doctors report(who atm is on holidays) and stuff with centrelink.
Thankyou all for your thoughts and prayers for my self and my family
God be with you all
Take care and my love to each and everyone of you ♥

Hugs to you Dame and hell its just like a re run of when we finally had to place mother in care........mother was also very aggro:(
The blue care worked out for the carer to come and pick up mother and take her down to the nursing home.....and yes she went in for respite first.
They suggested and might help you also is that they took Mother in and that i was to drop her clothes etc down later in the day.......that way the RN said would cause less stress. My mother thought she was in a resort.........and the respite of course went seamlessly into high care. She and the Doc also suggested that i keep myself scarce for about 5 days........of course in that first week could ring as often as possible.
Super good luck with it all its a dreadful time for all concerned.......and be prepared for the big guilt thing that may very well engulf your Mumma:) Be thinking of you all
