Good morning all.
Well hopefully today I can finish the packing ready for our trip. I want to have it all done before I head for Townsville. Have only four days when I get back to get ready. So think it is better o do it before I leave. R has done a fantastic job on the fitout of the ute. Very happy with it all and it is going to make things a lot easier for us. Give us more time to enjoy. Less repacking as well.
Other than that and a bit of housework I do not plan on doing anything else today. So tired of jumping in and out of the car to go get things from the shops.
Have a great day everyone. BBL.

In fact this is now the 3rd attempt at posting this, thank goodness for copy and paste..........
JV, your mum must be incredibly strong to still be with you. Have you told her she can go if she wants to? Because although it might sound silly, I have heard that some people just stay because they don't want to leave their family behind.
Hugs to you during this difficult time.
Purps, hope you are having an easy day of it. So much going on, you must be very excited.
PJ, I do hope you are feeling better. You have been through the wars.
Well, I am just so proud of my daughter. As some of you may not know, she was living near Ipswich till June this year, then when her boyfriend broke up with her, she left her job there and came here to live with me and P.
She has been working at Woolworths for 2 months now, and was on casual, but they are so pleased with her work they have offered her a permanent job. Not only that, but she has been working as the front desk supervisor also, during those times the supervisor is off on a break.
She works 6 days per week, and has come in to work at short notice whenever they have asked her to come in early, or stay later. Her supervisors have written glowing reports about her and I'm just so happy for her right now. She's made a couple of friends from working there, and has been out with them as well which is much better than just being at home on the weekends.
I just had to boast, sorry.
Gorgeous day here, bit windy, but lovely nevertheless.
Have made a choc brownie slice for P and I to enjoy on his days off starting tomorrow.
Anyways, I hope everyone is keeping well and you are enjoying your weekend.
Hugs to all.

{{jvh}} So sorry it's not over for you and your family yet. My thoughts are with you, at this sad time.
aussi - I think the problem lies in a timing thing. I have only encountered "error" messages when I have spent a long time composing my contribution. Now, whenever, I take more than a few minutes to write my post, I just assume ebay won't like it, I always copy the post before sending, just in case!:-)
Congratulations on having a daughter who is bouncing back and having a real go at life. You must have brought her up right:-D
purps - enjoy your trip!
It's been raining here in Wollongong for 3 days - pity about the plans I had for digging the garden, while I've got a few days off, (and the little girl next door's birthday party) but she still had fun, and I just think how much softer the ground will be tomorrow!:-) And it's been a marvelous excuse for me to be SO lazy, and watch TV and read. LOL
