well i went out tonight, was feeling ok but this night was something I had been looking forward to for a whole month..they had a ladies night at Bunnings and the guest presenter was that lil hottie from Better Homes and gardens...Rob Palmer.... I was a bit disappointed as I forgot to take my camera!!!!:-( but i still got a signed photo, and a signed green bag too!! I had a nice night!

Lol Pauline i bet you had a blast at Bunnings checking out the little spunky Bunny:) shame about the no camera bit though:)

Jvh i'm so pleased you've had your son with you to share the burden of organising the funeral and after function.He sounds like a wonderful son and a great support for you.Am hoping you have a relaxing day and like Dame says be KIND to yourself.

Morning all, well that was the best sleep that i have had since going under anasthetic almost 2 weeks ago..LOL!! I have a few things to do today, so it's off for an early start!!!, have got about 1 hour b4 my carer gets here..

but here's a pic of the lil hottie I saw last night, mind you he is heaps taller in person than he appears on T.V!( well they could not show everyone or thing in "real size" now could they?

Hi to everyone and my son took me out for a steak for lunch was nice to kick back and try and switch off........came home and had a massive sleep this afternoon must have needed it:)

Not that much happening here.........sort of plodding along.......had a couple of hic cups with rellies over mothers service etc........but my son sat them back on the seat we use all the time:).......he is his fathers son:)

Just going to have a toastie for dinner and dont think ill be that long out of bed lol.........i think its all catching up with me:)

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother.
I do hope you are feeling ok about it. You know you did your best for her (as we on this list can well attest) and she is now at peace.:-x
Hope the celebration of her life is all you could wish for, and that your family all pull together at this sad time. Have a good cry , and perhaps a laugh or two.
Remember the good times, please!
It's so easy to focus on the last months (which were obviously very hard) but there were years and years of good times - so remember them.
