JV you have been in my thoughts. Sounds like you have been flat out, and I think you deserve at least a couple of days of being super lazy!
Purps, I have admired your pics of the latest fittings to your car in readiness for your big trip! So envious! You will have a wonderful time for sure.
Kerry, I'm having fun in that Cafe World game, perhaps not as much fun as FarmTown was when starting out, but it's just a cute game. I like what you have done to your cafe too. I agree re the cyber cafe customers eating better than we do in reality. As a waitress in my cafe you are working very hard indeed, and I might even give you a cyber pay rise!
Wish both of us could find the job we are searching for. Out of about a dozen applications in the past 3 weeks I have only heard back from two, stating I had not made the short list for interviews. I'm actually seeing another Job Capacity Assessor in a week and a half, this time with a certificate filled out by my doctor stating my health issues such as obesity, depression etc etc. At the moment I have to apply for any type of work, and being as big as I am, some of the work is physically impossible for me, but because I don't have it documented by a Dr, I have to apply anyways.
I have had my first visit with the psychologist also, which was good. Hoping that by talking to her, I can shake off some of my issue's, or work through them at least. The antidepressants are working, but I still have episodes of feeling really low.
Dame, sorry about that 5th wheeler, not being what you had hoped for. It didn't look as nice in the listing photo as the other one you had liked, and certainly not a newer one by appearances. I'm sure sooner or later you and Mr Beam will find the one you are looking for.
Hope things are going well as far as your step dad and his stay in a nursing home is working out.
Waves to PJ, hope you are feeling better now after having to see the doc earlier this week. And congrats on the nomination for the award that was submitted by your friend. You are such a caring person, the first to offer help despite your own adversities.......you are well deserving of some recognition!
For those who have watched Underbelly, the first series, we have here in Hervey Bay at the moment, 2 actors from the show. The one who played Benji Venieman [the bald guy with tatts on his arms], and the guy who played Carl Williams. My daughter was working at Woolies on Thursday night when who should appear at her checkout, but the 2 actors. Her supervisor who was on a break at the time, was most peeved that she'd missed out on seeing them, LOL.
They are here to film a movie, something about sharks/tourists.
To everyone else who drops by here, I hope you are all doing well, and life is treating you well.
P is off work today, avidly glued to the TV watching the Bathurst 1000.
Take care all, and enjoy your sunny Sunday!
Hugssss~

As to my job hunting, I am fairly convinced it is my weight and age which is against me. I am morbidly obese to be honest.
When I did my prac work in home based aged care, showering clients was rather difficult for me unless they had enormous shower stalls. And I couldn't kneel or squat down to attend to their legs/feet. The only way I could manage was by bending which was not good for my back.
I know I need to address my weight as a matter of great importance. I actually have an appointment with a dietician in a couple of weeks. [a free appt as part of my GP's referral]. Plus I am hoping that by seeing the psychologist I can address some of the issues leading to my bad eating habits.
