JVH -Hope your friend ok, not meaning necessarily better, but ok with her decisions.
So sorry you have to go through this after your mum. But, by the number of funerals I have attended lately, I guess that we are coming to an age when our parents die, our friends get sick, and we have to cope with lots of trauma.
I wish you all the best with this.
I like "bella's" attitude of saying "hi to the "go guys"" - I think I have learned one thing from my holiday - i.e. life is short - make the most of it - and damn the consequences.
Hi to miss, pj, dame, aussiegold, karen, kezza, nohousework, nefertiti, libby (when you return),purps, bella, and all those others post here.

scatty you are back,,, glad to see ya girlfriend!!! how ya been!!
A home without a cat is just a house!!

Morning all.

Well my eyes are still sore and gluggy. Might need to go back to the doctor.

We had a lovely drive yesterday. This place is amazing. Love it. We booked in here for a week. Going on a full day sightseeing trip today. Should do a complete loop. We are camped on a hill with a stream down the bottom. Thank goodness there is a fence so no chance of me falling in the drink during the night. One think about this lifestyle is I get plenty of exercise. lol

Hope everyone is feeling well.

Kerry please be careful with ECT. It is not a good thing I feel. Have you tried doing volunteer work. It would get you out of the house. Give you other people to socialise with. You are a lovely lady and I feel for you. You have a beautiful son who loves you. My best wishes go to you. Off my soap box now.

Oh I posted some pics on my travel thread if anyone is interested.

Have a great day all. BBL

Yes I am very fortunate. We are doing it a very cheap way. So that is good as well. We would spend not more on the road than we do at home. Took some convincing to get hubby on the road though. Now he loves it. lol

It is so funny evey time we pack up I tell him I want a caravan. But he refuses. Good thing too as we do get to a lot of places we could not access with a van. Treat the packing and setting up as a workout. Because it does take a bit of effort. We have it down pat now. So that is good. Sorry for rambling on.
