Hello everyone
My aunt recently forwarded me this email and I have a sneaking suspicion that all of you on this thread will like it!:-x
So ---

I wish you Enough!

Recently I overheard a father and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure. “I love you, and I wish you enough' said the father. The daughter replied, 'Dad, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Dad.'

They kissed and the daughter left. The father walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see he wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on his privacy, but he welcomed me in by asking, 'Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?'

'Yes, I have,' I replied. 'Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?'
'I am old, and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral,' he said.
'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough.' May I ask what that means?'
He began to smile. 'That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.' He paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and he smiled even more.
'When we said, 'I wish you enough,' we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.' Then turning toward me, he shared the following as if he were reciting it from memory.

“I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how grey the day may appear.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good- bye.”

He then began to cry and walked away.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them; but then an entire life to forget them.

*Only if you wish send this to the people you will never forget and remember to send it back to the person who sent it to you. If you don't send it to anyone it may mean that you are in such a hurry that you have forgotten your friends.

Take Time To Live.

To all my friends and loved ones, and to everyone on this thread, I wish you Enough!

Oh wow how beautiful is that thank you so much:)

Good afternoon everyone!

Hi JVH so sorry re your friend's awful test results. So sad! I do believe there was/is a forum (Darki's cancer corner) - perhaps down the road she may join for some support. Take care of you too!

PJbear so sorry you hurt yourself - hope the x-rays go well and it is not broken. How frustrating. Glad you enjoyed your mum's b/day. (No don't go to bed that early - had just had enough of the computer for the day lol!)

Kezza keep up the good work!

Hello dame - congrats on the snipe - hope you are well and yes, thank you - OH is in good spirits - hopefully back on the right path. I wish you a lovely evening!

Waves to scatty, (libby I miss you), purple, rosie, dancing (miss you too) - and everyone who pops in!

Had my hair straightened today and it was $100 cheaper than last year - was pleasantly surprised (was expecting it to have gone up!) Now no more bad hair days for a while lol!

Have a lovely evening everyone!

Thank you Missnogal........its going to be a daily process with Chrissie........have finally got dialogue happening with her brother in Ireland:)

Goooooooood morning to you all and yes up with the fowls but have a lot to do up at Mothers so its an early start in this household:)

Finally got dialogue happening with Chrissies brother in Ireland so will be able to write a short diary type thing to them and keep them up to date with all the news on the medical front. Chrissie does have a computer but isnt that computer literate and have tried to show her but its very hard for her to concentrate etc etc.

Got some more furniture sold out of Mothers home and that is being picked up on Saturday arvo..........just the same two families which is so nice.......both lovely young people and am totally at ease with them. Was really worried as to how i would move all the furniture but both young couples buying are paying exactly what is being asked and no quibbles thankfully:)

Have a fabulous day everyone, thinking of you all BBL

Good morning all. Well not so good here as it is very bleak looking outside. Hope it fines up a bit later.

That email is lovely. YThanks for sharing it with us.

We had a couple of things planned for today but I doubt some will be done. We were goind to see a waterfall but I think too wet and the area will probably be slippery. So maybe just a bit of a wander around town. Not that there is a lot of town to see.

Well have a great day all. BBL

Cheery good morning everyone!

JVH great news regards the furniture - and glad it is going to a 'nice home'. Your friend won't be able to concentrate on much at the moment as she is probably in a bit of shock. Very nice of you to compose a diary for her family. My philosophy is that 'where there's life - there's hope' - has she considered natural therapy?

Pjbear look after that wrist! Must be horribly confining for you. I missed that episode of Celebrity Masterchef - but did enjoy the Amazing Race last night. (It wasn't the final so still have that to look forward to!) - I also use the GHD (good hair day lol) - protective spray it is very good. Also saw those pandas on t.v. last night and they are headed to your zoo from China!

Scatty thank you so much for the beautiful email! It really does make you stop and think.

Purple hope you find something fun in town - perhaps a nice lunch and a little flutter on the pokies? Hopefully the weather your way much better over the weekend!

Hi Dame hope you have a wonderful weekend planned! Also hope you are enjoying zipping around in your new car!

Hiya kezza - hope you are still enjoying the great outdoors and managing a walk!

Libby hope all is ok with you. Pjbear has e mailed you and we are hoping you are off enjoying a lovely holiday. Hope you're not having more computer woes.

Waves to everyone and wishes everyone a wonderful Friday!

Good morning to the thread:)
Lovely day here today and heaps of stuff to do, so I best get to it:)
Love to you all and God bless♥

*Waves to miss and sends her a hug*
Yep the lil red chillie gal is good:)
