Goooooooooood evening to everyone and hope everyone is surviving the heat....been totally foul here today and the humidity is through the roof.......Been a so so day here...........cant do too much in this heat

Progressing getting the Irish contingent here..........got the hire car booked and they are insisting on staying in private digs so have nice accomm. organised as well....right during peak time here so have pulled my hair out organising something that is suitable quite and serene complete with necessary air con:)

Read that Missnogal is doing a turkey i love those self basting ones..........they are so nice.

I make a sauce out of a bottle of cherries and a dash of brandy and just warm through thicken if necessary....the OH is wanting a hot lunch but have already told him even in the air con i aint cooking lol Men 🙂

It's hard to believe it is so hot where you are at! I have to confess at running the heating all day today and I'm wearing a thick dressing gown lol! Wish we could change climates for a while!

my daughter told me how hot it is in Brisbane when I was talking to her earlier. So glad I am down here. Hate the heat. Used to like it and now I have done a complete change.

Hi yes the self basting ones are so much easier...........i use Steggles Self Basting in a size 26..........do the vegies on a seperate tray but using the alfoil is the trick to keeping it moist and not stringy

Move is going slowly, I got all my plants, most of the kitchen, bookcase and some furniture in C's room...We are getting a removalist in on Tuesday a community organisation is going to pay for 2 hours and I'll pay the rest hopefully only an 1hr. So I am busting my guts to get everything I can over there in a 4 door hatch back, lol. I picked up a box I packed last night full of old text books and it was so heavy I thought I might bust my guts, lol.
We havent got a washing machine anymore so washing is piling up gotta go to a laundromat or ask some of my friends, lol. I hate not having a washing machine I'm going to ring the Salvo's on Monday to see what they have.
Yummo someones cooking a barbie the smells wafting in 🙂 Smells like steak...
Purps I hope yr ok it might be the change in weather why yr lethargic I know when its hot up here its painfull to move the cold weather may be having the same effect on u. Have u tried Centrum?

Oh wow.........i can remember vividly being in Hobart in December about 25 years ago and it was freezing with a light drift of snow...........was bitterly cold........could do with some of that now:)

Kezza wish I could send some of the cooler weather up to you. What a time to be moving.

Been a quite day. Went for a walk to the shops and had a look around. Needed some fruit and veg. Got those and had a coffee. Was rather nice. Gives us both a bit of a break from each other.

Am hoping for a nice cool Xmas day. Then I will cook a nice meal otherwise forget it. It will be cold meat and salad. or a sanger. lol
