Hi JVH - didn't realize you were from around the Coolangatta area - was there last year with OH and once before with a girlfriend - loved the area - so much character! Sorry you didn't get your day off today!! Hope the arrival of the Irish family today is not too emotionally taxing. (Just found out yesterday my Uncle has an inoperable brain tumor) - more tests (in Scotland where he resides) - will hopefully bring better news or at least a plan of attack.

OH's birthday and I got brekkie in bed - nice surprise!

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm having a clear up day today, although continue to be side tracked with everything else but lol

Two of the girls are unwell and gone back to bed, poor princesses 😞 and the third is on the puter playing games quietly.

Oh I forgot to tell you I have officially lost 10 kilo and kept it off over Christmas.

My aim is to lose 5 more for now. I haven't been exercising thou just more watching what I eat.

Goooooooooooood morning all from a very humid Gold Coast.

Back into the grind at the house and the bathroom tiling got finished yesterday.........the OH and myself have to fix some sheeting to a wall in the kitchen this am and then the tiler/plumber is back up tomorrow at first light to hopefully knock that on the head..........then its a massive job of a repaint inside but going to have another week off before getting my head around that job........anyone want to strip a room of wallpaper lol:)

Well I'm off shopping today, the cupboards are looking a touch bare, time for a stock up again me thinks.

Yes we did a big shop to day went to the house and worked hard and the tradie is in again in the am super early...........humid as hell here............one never gets used to it:(

JVH bet you're glad the renovations are almost finished!! Hoping the Irish visitors are settling in and more importantly, Chrissie is doing better.

Waves to everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying the 'silly season' and those doing it rough have better days ahead. Very quiet in here of late - looking forward to hearing of everyone's holidays.

Dinner last night was a success and everyone had a good time - dragging a bit today but hope to be up for a shop tomorrow.
